The Douglas Foster Foundation

Lacrosse Northwest Vice-President Jessica Voas and President Sarah Tomlinson are honored to announce that the founder of our company and pioneer of Oregon lacrosse will never be forgotten with the creation of The Douglas Foster Foundation.  Douglas Foster (1968 - 2015) brought more to Oregon lacrosse than any one person or entity in the state.  Doug created Lacrosse Northwest in 2000, and although he sold the company to us, his work to develop the sport did not stop there.  Doug was also a high school lacrosse coach and his latest work to develop the sport was as a certified US Lacrosse Men's Lacrosse referee.

The Douglas Foster Foundation has been created in honor of Doug's legacy to promote the development of lacrosse in Oregon from donations by individuals and corporations.  The Douglas Foster Foundation is a 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Organization giving scholarships to develop male and female athletes, coaches, and certified officials in the state of Oregon.

The Douglas Foster Foundation Mission

The mission of The Douglas Foster Foundation is to provide scholarships to individuals, including participant-players, coaches and officials, for the promotion of the sport of lacrosse in memory of Douglas Foster and his contributions to the sport as a player, coach, official, and community leader.
