Girls Assistant Lacrosse Coach 2012
Salary Range: $1,929 – 2,893 (depending on experience)

Essential Job Functions:

• Work collaboratively with head coach to promote team success.
• Provide a positive learning environment for the student-athletes.
• Evaluate and teach the skills necessary for successful performance.
• Understand and embrace the Central Catholic community.
• Manage student-athlete behavior during practice sessions, travel, and contests.
• Take necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Embrace the “student” component of student-athlete.
• Uphold and enforce administrative regulations and school policies
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and other school personnel.
• Set a positive role model for student-athletes.
• Attend Central Catholic team awards night.

Qualifications:

• Educator who understands and utilizes the value of lacrosse as a mechanism for educating student-athletes.
• Experience with high school students and the sport.
• Certification through the NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP) is required of all coaches at the beginning of their coaching assignment.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• MESD Bloodborne Pathogen, Concussion Management, Steroid Abuse Prevention, and Coaches Certification (can be obtained through Central Catholic High School).
• Special requirements:
• The person employed for this position must be able to verify identity and employment authorization.
• The candidate selected for this position must complete a pre-employment record check and other Archdiocesan required trainings/certifications.
